Dr Simba Mungazi
BIO
Dr Simba Mungazi, originally from Zimbabwe, pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of Zimbabwe, specializing in Surgery. Since 2017, he has been a lecturer in Surgery and Anaesthesia at the National University of Science and Technology in Bulawayo. In addition to his surgical expertise, he completed a two-year Breast fellowship in November 2022. Currently serving as a specialist Breast Surgeon at East Cheshire NHS Trust outside Manchester, he manages to balance his responsibilities by returning to Zimbabwe for teaching and patient care. We appreciate Dr. Mungazi's willingness to share his insights with us despite his busy schedule. We eagerly anticipate an informative academic update on the latest advancements in the surgical management of the most common cancer worldwide. The landscape of Breast cancer treatment is evolving rapidly, and the initial diagnosis and referral by primary care doctors significantly impact the entire cancer journey for patients. We extend a warm welcome to Dr. Mungazi, who will provide updates on the latest developments in Breast Cancer.
